Business Referral Program
The Business Referral Program allows eligible Connect2First Business Members to earn bill credits by referring new Members to Connect2First. Business Members are automatically enrolled at no cost, provided their account is active and in good standing. Connect2First reserves the right to modify or terminate the program at any time.
Business Members who refer others to the program are “Referrers”; those who are referred are “Referred Members.” Referrers and Referred Members may each be eligible to receive a one-time “Credit” for every qualified business-to-business referral. Referrers must be legally able to participate and must 1) be at least the age of majority where they reside, 2) have an existing, valid Connect2First Business account, and 3) otherwise be in good standing. Employees of First Electric Cooperative Corporation (FECC) and Connect2First, including their immediate family and household members, are not eligible to participate.
To qualify for a credit, the Referred Member must provide the Referrer’s referral code when creating a new account. The credit will be applied after the Referred Member’s installation is complete and will appear as a line item on the Referrer’s next monthly bill.
For a qualified business-to-business referral, both the Referrer and the Referred Business will receive a one-time credit equal to one month of the internet service plan currently active on their respective accounts, up to a maximum credit of $500 per business. The credit applies only to monthly internet service and does not include phone service, equipment, installation, taxes, fees, or other charges.
If a Business Member refers a residential Member, the Referrer will receive a one-time $20 bill credit under the Residential Referral Program instead of the business-to-business referral credit. Any credit provided to the Referred Residential Member will be subject to the Residential Referral Program Terms and Conditions.
Referral Credits are unlimited, but Connect2First may determine how multiple credits are applied. Credits are subject to verification and may be withheld or invalidated if they are fraudulent, submitted in error, or violate these Terms and Conditions. Credits are not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be applied to unreturned equipment fees or other ineligible charges. Any unused credits will be forfeited if the Business Member closes or has their account terminated.
